Customer Service Policy
Butter Sugar Flour’s goal is to provide each customer with a fresh baked good, made from scratch, and good customer service. Our policies were designed to help Butter Sugar Flour provide consistent and fair customer service.
Butter Sugar Flour asks each customer to read the customer service and privacy policies in their entirety and that an order confirmation indicates you have read and agree to Butter Sugar Flour’s policies.
Business Hours:
Butter Sugar Flour has been inspected and approved by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Food and Drug Protection Division to operate as a Home Processor. Therefore, Butter Sugar Flour currently does not have a storefront.
Even though Butter Sugar Flour operates as a Home Processor it still maintains business hours. Business hours will be: Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm (no weekends or holidays).
No delivery/pick-ups will be scheduled on weekends, holidays or after 5:30 pm on weekdays.
Communication:
Butter Sugar Flour, can be contacted by phone at (336) 437-8663, to place an order. Also, Butter Sugar Flour can be emailed at (Buttersugarflourest2021@gmail.com) to request a return call.
Butter Sugar Flour currently prefers to avoid utilizing Facebook/Instagram/Text Message to place orders, because it may be easier to accidentally forget to respond or miss an order with these types of communication. Butter Sugar Flour feels that communicating by phone gives us the opportunity to speak with and get to know our customers.

Responses can take 24 hours. If you wish to discuss an order for an upcoming event that requires priority attention, Butter Sugar Flour will respond accordingly.
Ordering:
Butter Sugar Flour requires all orders to be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Once order is paid, in full, an order/confirmation number will be provided and a delivery/pick-up, location, date and time will be scheduled. Butter Sugar Flour will require a forty-eight (48) hour notice on all orders, unless otherwise noted.
Confirmation of order is acknowledgement that you have read and agree with Butter Sugar Flour’s customer service and privacy policies.
Payment Methods:
Butter Sugar Flour will accept, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Diner’s, JCB International and debit cards.
Butter Sugar Flour, currently does not utilize Facebook/Instagram/Text message to place orders. Orders will be taken by phone and credit or debit card payment, in full, is required at time of order. Butter Sugar Flour, processes card payments by using Square payment processing service.
No credit or debit card information will be recorded or filed by Butter Sugar Flour.
Butter Sugar Flour’s website does not accept orders. Butter Sugar Flour’s website is not an e-commerce site and does not accept or request credit or debit card information.
All orders will be subject to applicable tax.
Pricing:
Pricing will be noted on Butter Sugar Flour’s website. Custom orders will be priced on a case-by-case basis. Butter Sugar Flour makes baked goods from scratch using fresh basic ingredients (ingredients for orders will be purchased when order is confirmed).
Order Delivery/Pick-up:
Butter Sugar Flour will meet locally with each customer, at an agreed upon location, for delivery/pick-up of baked goods.
No delivery/pick-ups will be scheduled on weekends, holidays or after 5:30 pm on weekdays. Delivery/Pick-up times will be allowed a grace period of fifteen (15) minutes, after scheduled time. More than fifteen (15) minutes will be considered a no show (It is important to maintain the scheduled pick-up, allowing Butter Sugar Flour to timely meet the next customer’s scheduled delivery/pick-up).
Refund/Return:
Butter Sugar Flour does not provide a refund credit in cases where an item was prepared correctly but flavor or texture did not meet personal preference. The flavor and texture of baked goods is subjective.
Therefore, if there is a defect with your baked good Butter Sugar Flour will require that you:
- Return the remaining portion of your baked good to Butter Sugar Flour no more than twelve (12) hours after delivery/pick-up. The customer must telephone Butter Sugar Flour to schedule an agreed upon pick-up, date and time within the twelve (12) hours, at the original delivery/pick-up location.
- For baked goods returns, Butter Sugar Flour will provide a proportionate refund credit toward your next order. Remaining portion baked goods, Butter Sugar Flour will provide a proportionate refund credit toward your next order, because Butter Sugar Flour wants to make your order right. Butter Sugar Flour reserves the right to judge the quality of the return for itself and will discard the baked good after review.
- If the baked good is not returned, within twelve (12) hours after pickup no refund credit will be issued.
- Butter Sugar Flour does not provide a refund credit in cases where an item was prepared correctly but flavor or texture did not meet personal preference. The flavor and texture of baked goods is subjective.
- If you do not pick up your order as scheduled, Butter Sugar Flour will not issue a refund credit or reschedule a delivery/pick-up date. If you need the baked good later a new order will need to be placed. Butter Sugar Flour cannot save or resell any baked good that is not picked up as originally scheduled, because Butter Sugar Flour’s goal is to provide fresh baked goods.
- Butter Sugar Flour will discard all baked goods not delivered/picked up as scheduled.
- If Butter Sugar Flour does not meet with you for the scheduled delivery/pick-up of your baked good, Butter Sugar Flour will request a refund of the original order amount to the credit card used. For debit cards, a refund credit will be issued to be used toward your next order.
- No refund credit will be given for an amount more than the original order purchase price.
- Refund credits must be used within thirty (30) days of date issued by Butter Sugar Flour.
*Butter Sugar Flour must receive the baked good within required time for a refund or proportioned refund credit, toward your next order, to be issued. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
Cancellation Policy:
Butter Sugar Flour requires a forty-eight (48) hour notice to cancel an order. Canceled orders will be redeemed by a refund credit toward your next order. The refund credit will be for seventy-five (75%) of the canceled order amount.
Other:
Butter Sugar Flour is not responsible for any damage to baked goods during customer’s transport. Please keep in mind that baked goods are fragile and damage can happen if not handled properly.
Butter Sugar Flour has the right to refuse service and amend its Customer Service and Privacy policies.
Allergens: Attention customers with food allergies. Please be aware that Butter Sugar Flour’s baked goods may contain or come in contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, and nuts. Butter Sugar Flour cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination in its baked goods.
Privacy Policy:

address, when provided, for communication related to orders and promotional offers.
Butter Sugar Flour LLC does not sell or share any customer information.
